An Indian power lineman along with other "chosen individuals" experience UFO encounters which both bewilder and obsess them. They are drawn to a predetermined location at "Devil's Tower," Wyoming, which leads to the first organized
contact with friendly aliens. The Special Edition includes additional footage
that was added to the original version in order to seeing the inside of the alien ship
when the "chosen few" are taken on board the ship to travel with the aliens
